Transitions . . .
Life is a Continuous Transition Marked by Turning Points
At any of these points of change, one might benefit from counseling and/or coaching if accommodating or coping becomes a problem.
“Natural” transitions include those of human development, such as:
-
birth and infancy
-
early childhood, including bonding and separation from parents and encountering the larger social world
-
growing independence and adolescent changes
-
young adulthood -- career or job
-
further education (if any)
-
marriage -- or not
-
having and raising children -- or not
-
adult relationships in the world
-
career and family goals and dreams-realized or not
-
later adulthood “empty nest”
-
work changes
-
retirement
-
aging/death of parents
-
elderhood -- existential questions

Your life line is full of transition points:
-
health and illness,
-

Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.
