Counseling Appointments and Fees
 To make an appointment, please see "How to get Started" or Email me. We respond to your inquiries promptly.- Counseling hours are flexible but scheduled: morning, afternoon, and evening hours are available each week; Mid-week hours (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) are best. Some week-end appointments are available.
We honor a 24-hour cancellation policy, except in case of last minute personal/family emergency.
The office is located in Grayslake, Illinois. Face to face counseling or coaching may be enhanced by distance counseling; this may be especially useful to those who travel much of the time.
Free information is available on many mental health, growth and relationship topics. Feel free to discuss your concerns, including fees, before or during the first appointment.
Fees
Fees are based on the type and length of the service provided. You are responsible for payment of the fee, at the time of each session, including the first.
Fees for Distance counseling will be paid prior to the appointment.
Termination will be agreed to at least one session ahead of termination to allow for summary, suggestions for the future and saying good-bye.
Payment for in person sessions may be in cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. If you have PPO insurance, the copay is expected; but it may be out of network.
You are responsible for payment of missed appointments which are not properly cancelled.
The initial call has no fee attached to it -- it is free.
 What to expect
Face to face: A mutually good time will be found.
Face to Face sessions are 50 minutes long at $125 per session, or $160 per 90 minute session. I will file the PPO insurance for you. Prepay six 50 minute sessions for $690 ($60 savings)
Distance: A full TELEPHONE session is required before we schedule an e-mail set-up. A mutually good time will be scheduled.
